WooCommerce Shipping Calculator Customizer

Customize the WooCommerce shipping calculator on the cart page

Description

If you want to make some changes to the WooCommerce shipping calculator that is shown to customers on the cart page, this tool will help you do just that. Enable this feature to:

• Enable or disable the City field.
• Enable or disable the Postcode field.
• Enable or disable the State field.
• Force block open, and set options for the button.
• Set label for Calculate Shipping
• Set label for Update Totals button.

Admin Settings

These settings can be found under WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Orders & Shipping > Shipping Calculator

Accessible through:

• WooCommerce > Settings > Booster > Shipping & Orders > Shipping Calculator

Tested on WooCommerce 4.0.0 and WordPress 5.3.2Plugin can be downloaded here. If there are any locked fields in the module, you will need to get Booster Plus to unlock them.

     Hi Lianne,

     You can enable Woocommerce shipping calculator in Woocommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping options. For an option called “Calculations” select “Enable the shipping calculator on the cart page”.

     This module is meant to customize an already existing shipping calculator in the cart page. Does the shipping calculator not exist on your website?

     Hi Jorge,

     The only way right now to calculate shipping based on item weight is to add custom shipping methods using “Custom Shipping” module, allow “Apply Formula to Costs” option in the shipping method when it is added to Woocommerce > Shipping, and using parameter “weight” in the cost field to calculate the shipping cost.

   Any idea why its calculating weights as KG even though all my woocommerce settings are in lbs? this bug has made the costs of USPS jump from $8 to $58 on recent orders .

     Unfortunately current “Shipping Calculator Customizer” module only allows to customize the calculator on the cart page. Your idea seems interesting and useful, so we’ll add it to one of next updates, however I can’t say anything regarding deadline.

     That would be very important to me too. Any update on this?
     In Brazil we use only the zip code to calculate shipping. I configured to not show the city and state, but does not have an option for the country. It has plans to include the country field?
     I also bought the plugin and has been very helpful!
