      Hi Neil,

Unfortunately it’s not currently possible to manually verify customers yet, but we have added it to our to do list.

      Best regards,

I have a problem with this plugin (4.6.1) with custom theme and WC 3.8.0.
    Notification is:
CRITICAL Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on null in /wp-includes/link-template.php:373

I have checked option in admin area: Prevent User Login Globally.
When I have added item to cart (as non logged user) on the frontend, go to the next step (checkout), fill new user data and submit form the blank page with stack trace is showing:
    #0 /wp-includes/link-template.php(335): _get_page_link(Object(WP_Post), false, false)
    #1 /wp-includes/link-template.php(146): get_page_link(Object(WP_Post), false, false)
    #2 /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-page-functions.php(67): get_permalink(Object(WP_Post))
    #3 /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/includes/class-wcj-emails-verification.php(124): wc_get_page_permalink(‘myaccount’)
    #4 /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/includes/class-wcj-emails-verification.php(55): WCJ_Email_Verification->check_if_user_email in /wp-includes/link-template.php at line 373

If I register user with WooCommerce form, activate account by Email Verification Module, next login and submitting checkout page everything is working perfect.
If I have unchecked option Prevent User Login Globally. add item to cart (non logged user), and then go to checkout page and fill user data the problem doesn’t exists (but I automatically logged by WooCommerce).

How to resolve this problem? Any suggestions?

Everything works perfectly from registering a user but when I verify via the link in the email I am redirected to a 404 page.

    Hi!

Please add to your todo list :

    – Block the welcome woocommerce email if the registration is not verified … and send the woocommerce welcome email just after verification is done 🙂

    TIA
    Cheers
    Phil

E-mail to [email protected] results in
Uw bericht heeft enkele of alle geadresseerden niet bereikt.

      Onderwerp:Email verification
      Verzonden:13-11-2018 16:59

De volgende geadresseerde(n) zijn niet bereikt:

      [email protected]’ op 13-11-2018 16:59
      550 msg-id=1gMb5n-0001QK-WF)

So it does not reach you.

      My question:
I am using the e-mail verification and I think it helps getting less users that are bots.
      BUT
They still manage to make an account, off course the account is flagged as non-verified.
But the non-verified is not an attribute I can sort the users on.

So removing non-verified users is not something I can do from Woocommerce. I need to do that by hand (13K users…) or with some kind of scheduled script directly on the database.

I would prefer to do it myself, so I can check before I remove (I started using the verification a year after I started the WooCommerce site.

Verification mail seem wrong on my side. What can be the reason ?
Tested on local host with a gmail SMTP config,, WP memory set to 256MB, I receive this link :

    http://localhost:8888/Lemaitre/mon-compte/?wcj_verify_email=eyJpZCI6MTksImNvZGUiOiI4NDdkMmI3NjkwNWJkNTEyZWNiN2Q4OWE2ZTRkNGJhNCJ9

I tried it two times, with the same email recreated thru guest purchase, and the link(s) bring to a 404 error.

Sorting the users on the “Verified” field would be really helpful in deleting spam-accounts.

Also marking a client as Verified by myself and being able to re-send the e-mail for verification would be really good options.

Sometimes our users don’t get the user verification email, or miss it in their spam folder. Is there a way to have a manual override so when this happens, I can just verify them automatically?

Also, is there a way to prevent them from adding items to the cart unless they are logged in? Or is this feature in a different plugin?

Yep agree with Matthew, and remember my request, a link in the header of users list to order by Verified / Not verified please 🙂

    Cheers

Looks like there’s no way for an admin to manually mark an account as “verified.” Nor is there a way for an admin to re-send the verification email on behalf of the user.

Is there any feature to add a confirm email field in the checkout page of the Woocommerce? Just in order to double check the email of the client. Something similar to this plugin: https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-email-validation/

      Hi Lorenzo,

Sorry for the delay. Maybe it’s possible to create/share an admin account to your server (WP and preferably FTP) so I could login and check what’s going on? My email is [email protected]

      Best regards,
      Tom
